Our first meet is also our first concessions!  Donations from families is greatly appreciated.  This is one of only two ways the team can make money for starters, computer/printers and end-of-the-year awards. 

This year we are trying something new in order to streamline concessions.  We have purchased some items (most at sale price from costco) that you may purchase from the team as your donation, saves you a trip to the store!

If you sign up to buy from team stock please pay cash to Kelly or Melanee, or paypal [email protected], please use "send money to friends/families" and note your name and item your are paying for.

Montgomery County Recreation Department will open registration to new swimmers on June 3rd only. All swimmers who wish to join Long Branch swim team in 2021 but did not swim with the Long Branch team in 2019--including former LB swimmers from seasons prior to 2019--must try out and register at the pool on June 3rd.

New swimmer registration will only be available during team evaluations the evening of Thursday, June 3rd.

Age-specific times for swimmer evaluations:

Minimum Qualifications swimmers must be able to demonstrate during their tryout:

8 & Under swimmers: must be able to swim one continuous length (25 meters) of the pool using a coordinated stroke and rhythmic breathing and be able to float on their back.

9-12 Year Old swimmers: must be able to swim one legal length (25 meters) of freestyle with good rhythmic breathing and one length (25 meters) of backstroke.

13 & Over swimmers: must be able to swim two continuous legal lengths (50 meters) of freestyle with good rhythmic breathing and two continuous legal lengths (50 meters) of backstroke.

This year's Parent Meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at 7 pm at the Long Branch Pool, rain or shine. Please note the following changes to this year's meeting from years past: 

• Only one parent per family is allowed
• No swimmers/children allowed
• Facemask required
• Everyone must maintain 6 feet of distance
• Prior to arriving at the facility, please take your temperature. If it registers 100.4 or above, please do not attend.
• If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms please do not attend the parent meeting.
