Hello, Long Branch families!

The 2026 summer season starts in 10 days! Registration is now open on ActiveMontgomery and Swimtopia.

As you may remember, Loretta is passing the "Team Rep" baton. Lara Hinderstein, Jana Rhone, and Carla Naranjo will be Team Reps this year. We thank Loretta for her many years of service to, and the growth of, the Long Branch Water Wizards!

We will have our annual start-of-season parent meeting on Tuesday, 5/26. Returning parents have the option to attend a briefer, more concise session at 6:20 pm or the longer, more thorough meeting at 7 pm (or both!).

We need officials and other volunteers to help the team have a great summer! These meets don't happen without family support, and there is something for everyone. Whether it's taking Stroke and Turn training, volunteering as a Timer, picking up pizza for a B meet, or helping with setup or breakdown at a home meet, we need lots of hands on deck!

¡La temporada de verano de 2026 comienza en 10 días! Las inscripciones ya están abiertas en ActiveMontgomery y Swimtopia.

Como recordarán, Loretta está pasando la batuta como "Representante del Equipo". Lara Hinderstein, Jana Rhone y Carla Naranjo serán las Representantes del Equipo este año. ¡Agradecemos a Loretta por sus años de servicio y por contribuir al crecimiento de los Long Branch Water Wizards!

Tendremos nuestra reunión anual de padres para el inicio de la temporada el martes 26 de mayo. Los padres que regresan tienen la opción de asistir a una sesión más breve y concisa a las 6:20 p. m., o a la reunión más extensa y detallada a las 7:00 p. m. (¡o a ambas!).

¡Necesitamos oficiales y otros voluntarios para ayudar a que el equipo tenga un verano fantástico! Las competencias de natación no podrían realizarse sin el apoyo de las familias, y hay tareas para todos. Ya sea realizando la capacitación de "Estilo y Viraje" (Stroke and Turn), ofreciéndose como voluntario para tomar los tiempos, recogiendo las pizzas para una competencia de la categoría B, o ayudando a organizar las carpas antes de las competencias en casa, ¡necesitamos muchas manos a la obra!
